Would you like to help support this site?

It costs about $450 per year to rent the space on the server which hosts this site. Add to that the cost of the phone calls (there are no fixed-rate local phone calls in England), and paying for this site takes a large chunk out of my model railway budget, not to mention the time it takes up.

Some visitors to the site decided that it was unreasonable for me to have to pay for it on my own as they were benefitting from it too, so I suggested that if people wanted to, they could contribute £20 or $30 to help with the running costs.

If you wish to make a contribution, then:

  1. Send me an EMail saying that a contribution is on the way.
  2. Get $30 or £20 cash from your local bank and send it to me via recorded airmail.
  3. When I receive the envelope I will send an EMail back to say it arrived.

In all the time people have been sending me contributions, I have never had anything go missing in the post. It was suggested to use funds transfers between bank accounts, but at least at this end, the money it costs to do transfers is almost as much as the contribution.

Please note that in order to avoid any suggestion of bias, I do not accept contributions from model manufacturers or stores.
